Weddings: The New for 2021

After a year of delays, cancellations, and downsizings, weddings are finally happening again.  Whether you are newly engaged or had to put off your wedding due to COVID-19,
the 2021 wedding industry is bouncing back and that means it’s time to look ahead at wedding trends for the 2021 season!

 Weekday Weddings

With so many couples rescheduling weddings to 2021, demand is high and availability is slim.   Weekday wedding may allow a couple to get married at their dream venue and hire their preferred vendors.  Plus, having a wedding on a weekday can save you a lot of money you can use on a honeymoon or put into savings. The pricing for most venues is significantly less on a Monday versus a Saturday.

Re-Imagined Floor Plans

With social distancing now embedded in our culture, couples have to be more creative with their floor plans. Rather than large tables filled with as many guests as possible, couples are seating their guests only with their plus one, families or identified safe group of members. tables are generally looking smaller this year—think groups of four to six instead of 10 to 12.  Also, if you’re a fan of the sweetheart table, now is your time to embrace it.

Individualized Food Displays

Share no more! For both cocktail hour menus and seated dinners, caterers are opting for a more personalized serving style. A charcuterie board for one? Please and thank you.
